Why House Cats Turn?

This is Sally, she is usually a fun playful cat and is just about the most talkative being in the house. But there are times, when she is just not in the mood and she turns her crazy switch on. And for those who do not want to explain the next day at work, why there are scars all over your hands and arms.. you just let her have her space.

It is funny how animals often mimic their owners personalities. As with anyone else, sometimes the mood overtake your usual cherub like demeanors and sometimes, you just feel in the pits. So give your animals the same respect you would give a roommate or loved one and allow to take a break from your attention every once and a while.

Do you have a zoo in your house?

Are you like me and you feel that your house is being overtaken by a zoo of animals? I do, I love animals so much that I am like a kid in a candy store when I visit a pet store. I have had animals of every sort and just can't seem to stick to limiting how many I have.

So if you are out there and you are doing the same thing by living with half of animal planet. Don't feel alone, we should probably start a support group over something. All kinds of pets need our love and we are willing to give it.

Keep your pets free... of parasites

We all love in our pets and want to keep them and ourselves safe. So now that the spring is finally coming and that means the bugs are coming in full swing as well. If we stay proactive and take care of it, there is nothing to worry about.

I have been reading up on this subject and have found that most vermin can be kept at bay by things as simple as flea collars and pet shampoos that repel bugs. I know I have this problem that I don't think about these measures until the season is half way through so I am going to get a head of the insects this year and take care of my pet now.

Poor animal frozen in his tracks

Have you ever wondered if your house pet could freeze if left out overnight. Well, if it drops to (-28) like it did in Silt Colorado, this is quite possible. This is a picture found of a coyote that died while trying to make itself a shelter.

So be careful, when leaving your animals out for the night. Give them something to allow them to insulate heat. You don't want this to happen to your pet and no animal deserves to die like this.
